Mackenzie Crook

British actor, in constant work

Crook is most famous for his role as Gareth in BBC Television’s cult comedy series, The Office (2001-2003). He has also appeared in a number of films, including Pirates of the Caribbean (2003, as Ragetti, the pirate whose eyeball fell out) and its 2006 and 2007 sequels and Finding Neverland (2004).

Before being cast as Gareth, Crook used to work at Pizza Hut, in a chicken factory and at hospitals. He also did stand-up comedy for a decade.
