| Great British comedy writer and actor. Cleese is best known for his television work, especially Monty Python’s Flying Circus (1960-1974) and Fawlty Towers (1975-1979). He has, however, appeared in a very large number of films, including A Fish Named Wanda (1988), two Bond films - The World Is Not Enough (1999) and Die Another Day (as Q, 2002) and the two Harry Potter films.
This is a John Cleese political rarity - a very fine 8" x 10" colour photograph, marked, to the reverse, April 5th 1991, Liberal Democrat Party. Cleese has signed in black ink to a lighter area of the image. In mint condition. |
