One of the greatest of all British film actors, with a wonderfully melodious voice.

A very rare full colour Blackpool Tower & Winter Gardens souvenir programme (War Price 4d), for the week commencing October 7th 1940 of a production of Bernard Shaw's The Devil's Disciple at the Grand Theatre. Robert Donat has added a fine signature in blue fountain pen ink to the main title page, as has his co-star Roger Livesey and (faintly) Milton Rosmer.
The souvenir programme also has details of a production of Lehar's Land of Smiles the same week at the New Opera House. This starred Richard Tauber, and Tauber has added a fine signature in turquoise ink to the title page.
