Gray, Sally Very pretty British screen heroine of the 1930s and 1940s.
In 1949 Sally Gray starred in a tense and claustrophobic film noir classic, Obsession, playing a manipulative, cheating wife called Storm Riordan. Robert Newton played her psychiatrist husband and the American actor, Phil Brown (1916-2006) played her latest lover.
Catching them in the act, Robert Newton has finally had enough and, marched off at gunpoint, Phil Brown disappears.The drama is
played out in a single hidden room that no one knows Newton owns, where he plans revenge and the perfect murder.
Sally Gray's performance in the film is outstanding.
This is a superb British Film Institute black and white 8" x 10" publicity photograph for Obsession, boldly signed by both Sally Gray and Phil Brown in black ink across a clear area of the image. Both signatures were obtained later in life and in person.

Charming, tall, handsome, dimpled, black-haired British actor, most famous for his portrayal of an amiable Robin Hood in the long-running British series The Adventures of Robin Hood (1955-1959), which was syndicated worldwide.
A candid sepia publicity photograph (8" x 6.5") for his 1943 film The Yellow Canary, showing Greene next to his co-star Anna Neagle, with Neagle's husband, producer Herbert Wilcox  in the line-up to their left. Greene has signed across a clear area of the image in green ink, and Anna Neagle has signed in blue fountain pen ink. In very fine condition.
This is a rare and possibly unique item - it came from Anna Neagle's own collection of her film photographs, bought after her death by a collector.

Charming, tall, handsome British actor, most famous for his portrayal of an amiable Robin Hood in the long-running British series The Adventures of Robin Hood (1955-1959), which was syndicated worldwide.
A very fine black and white contact print (8" x 10") taken by the great British photographer, Eric Gray, and is signed and inscribed to him by the actor ("To Eric, with many thanks since 1937, Richard Greene") in dark blue fountain pen ink.
This item is unique - it was Eric Gray's practice after a publicity shoot to send a contact print to his subject for approval. The subject would then signify this by signing the photograph and returning it to him. This came from Eric Gray's estate.
