| Calvet, Corinne (1925-2001) |
|
|
Beautiful French actress. This is a rare memento of Calvet's short marriage (1948-1954) to B-movie star, John Bromfield (1922-2005). The two actors met while making Rope of Sand and spent the five years of their marriage in a glare of studio publicity. There was much gossip at the time of their divorce that this was caused by Calvet's voracious sexual appetite, which Bromfield was unable to satisfy. Whatever the truth of this, this is a vintage album page (4.25" x 3.25") signed in ink by both Calvet and Bromfield. View Details |
