Gielgud, John (and Harry Andrews) Oscar-winning English actor, most famous for his stage work, notably in Shakespearean roles (he is generally regarded as having been one of the greatest Hamlets of the Twentieth Century).
A
very fine programme for an Old Vic Company production of Shakespeare's King Henry VIII in their 1957/1958 season. The cover has been signed in ink by John Gielgud (playing Cardinal Wolsey) and by the great character actor Harry Andrews (in the title role.)
The inner cast page has also been signed in ink by actors John Humphry (playing the Earl of Surrey) and David Dodimead (playing Sir Nicholas Vaux).

A fine vintage album page (6.25" x 4.75"), boldly signed ("It matters not how long we live, but how, Gertie Gitana") in black fountain pen ink. Gitana's husband, Don Ross (1902-1980) has also signed the page ("Me Too! Don Ross") in blue fountain pen ink.
This item came from the collection of Lily, the dresser at the Empire Theatre, Stratford in London, largely put together around 1928-1929, so this page would date to the early days of Gertie Gitana's marriage to Don Ross.
