Lowe, Olga   (1919-2013)
Lowe, Olga South African-born actress, in a large number of stage, screen and television productions, but now largely remembered as the actress who was on stage with Sid James at the Empire, Sunderland, when he died of a heart attack on April 26, 1976.
An early vintage black and white photograph (8.5" x 6.5") of Olga Lowe in an unidentified stage production. There's a bold signature and inscription ("To Lee Lacy, With My Best Wishes, Very Sincerely, Olga Lowe") in blue ink across the image. RARE.

Lowe, Olga (and Lulu and others) South African-born actress, in a large number of stage, screen and television productions, but now largely remembered as the actress who was on stage with Sid James at the Empire, Sunderland, when he died of a heart attack on April 26, 1976.
A very fine programme for the 1985 production of Guys and Dolls at the Palace Theatre in Manchester. The programme has been signed in blue ink to internal biographical pages by the main stars of the show - Lulu, Norman Rossington, Betsy Brantley, David Healy, Mark Hadfield and  John Warner, but tucked away towards the end, below a small photograph, is a very fine signature in blue ink of Olga Lowe, who played General Cartwright in the production.
