A rare souvenir programme (12" x 8") for Glenda Jackson's 1978 appearance at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon, in Peter Brook's production of Shakespeare's Anthony and Cleopatra.
Jackson starred opposite Alan Howard as Mark Antony and Jonathan Pryce as Octavius Caesar, with the cast also including Alan Rickman, Patrick Stewart, David Suchet, John Nettles, David Bradley and Richard Griffiths.
The centrefold picture, spreading over the two facing pages and featuring Glenda Jackson in a scene with Alan Rickman, is boldly signed in black ink above her image.
