very early original Rank Organisation "cheesecake" publicity photograph (8" x 10"), showing the 17-year-old Janette Scott at the Venice Lido "after her arrival here to attend the International Film Festival". There's a fine signature and inscription ("Peter! Best of luck! Janette Scott") in blue fountain pen ink across the image. The press release, dated 28th August 1955, is still attached to the reverse.
