Arthur (and Kitty Macshane) Lucan

British music hall comedian, immortalised by his creation of Old Mother Riley, a comic Irish washerwoman.

Lucan made 14 films in this character, beginning with Old Mother Riley (1937), usually with his real-life wife, Kitty McShane (1898-1964), playing his daughter.

Their last film, Mother Riley Meets The Vampire, was made in 1952.

This is a very fine signature in dark blue ink on a vintage album page (3.52" x 2.5"). The page is also signed in ink by Kitty McShane, who has added her character name, Kitty. In excellent condition..
