James Arness

Giant American actor.

Arness is most famous for his portrayal of Matt Dillon in the long-running television series Gunsmoke (1955-1975).

He is also remembered for his appearances in early horror films, notably The Thing (title role, 1952) and Them (1954).

This is a very cheery colour photograph (8" x 10"), boldly signed and inscribed ("Hi Fred - Jim Arness") in black ink across the image. In excellent condition. Scarce - Arness became reclusive in his later years
